She graduated in May 2003 from Faculty of Oral & Dental Medicine, Cairo University, in September 2009, she was awarded her master degree and in May 2014, she got her degree in pediatric dentistry. The objective of this study is the evaluation of the oral health beliefs, knowledge and behavior related to the early childhood caries and the barriers may be facing mothers to obtain proper health care in a sample representing Egyptian mothers living in Giza city. A cross sectional questionnaire based study was carried out in Giza city, Egypt, including 440 mothers who do have a child with age of 6 ‎years or younger. This questionnaire was designed to evaluate the participant characteristics and to assess their oral health beliefs and knowledge score (22 questions) and oral health ‎behavior score (10 questions), the scores were calculated by summing the correctly answered questions. And also to determine the possible barriers to obtain proper oral health care (7 questions). The analysis of the data did reveal that 48.4% of the participants answered 16 to 22 questions correctly in the oral health beliefs and knowledge sector, while 49.3% of the participant answered 4-6 questions correctly in the oral health ‎behavior sector, while the answers in the barrier section did reveal that 94.3% of the participants were facing 3 to 7 barriers to obtain oral health care. The oral health beliefs and knowledge showed a statistically significant positive correlation with oral health behavior and the barriers to obtain proper oral health care (P value = 0.000). Although the participants were confronted with some barriers to reach proper oral health care, they revealed an internal proper oral health knowledge associated with accepted oral health behavior.\r\nRecent Publications \r\n1. We studied the effectiveness and safety of anesthesia on the lower jaw according to P.M.Egorov and J.Gow-Gates. The study involved 92 patients, age 21-50 years have included: The removal of impacted and dystopic teeth К01.0, removal of teeth with chronic apical periodontitis K04.6. The method was compared according to P.M.Egorov - 45 patients, according to J.Gow-Gates – 47. Clinical assessment of painful interventions (MGMSU method) was used. Recorded complications hematoma, positive aspiration samples, posleinektsionnye pain. In inflammation during anesthesia by P.M. Egorov efficiency - 89% at John. J.Gow-Gates, 96%. The number of complications was 1.9%, and method to P.M.Egorov – 2.2%. During surgery removal of impacted and dystopic teeth using the method of J.Gow-Gates, 2, 6 times less likely to carry out additional pain relief than applying the method of P.M.Egorova.rnrnRecent Publications rnrn1. \r\nShe have always been passionate about being a doctor since her childhood, later on she was more interested towards oral health care, which led her to pursue her Bachelors in Dental Surgery. During her first year of dentistry she taught tooth morphology and wax carvings of each tooth which made her realize dentistry is also about being good at hand crafting. A professor of ours once said “Dentistry is a combination of art and science” which made her fall in love with the subject and clinical work. She always had keen interest to learn about recent advances and keeping myself updated with the researches in the field of dentistry.\r\n

Stem cells are undifferentiated cells, capable of renewing themselves, with the capacity to produce different cell types to regenerate missing tissues and treat diseases. Teeth are the most natural, non-invasive source of stem cells. Dental stem cells offer a very promising therapeutic approach to restore structural defects.
